Weekly Pregnancy Update

How far along? 17 weeks 4 days

Total weight gain/loss: -4 lbs, it's creeping on :(

Sleep: I have been having trouble staying asleep because of all of my wierd dreams.

Best moment this week: Seeing Henry today.

Movement: Yes, he is moving around a lot more.

Food cravings: Frosted Flakes

Gender: Boy!!!!!

What I miss: Nothing this week, I am really just enjoying my pregnancy and don't miss anything about pre-pregnancy life.

What I am looking forward to: Working on the nursery next weekend.

Milestones: Feeling Henry when he moves around. It's becoming a little more frequent and I love it. I know in a few months he may have all sorts of fun kicking my ribs and hurting me but right now I love his movement.

Henry's 2nd 3D Ultrasound

We got to see our little boy this morning and he still was a little stubborn booger and wouldn't really move around. We were able to get a could of good shots of his "boy parts" and he is still definitely a boy!!! In 15 years he will probably want to "kill" me for showing these off, but I don't care, I am a proud Mama! So here is photographic evidence that Henry is indeed Henry. :)

Happy Easter!!!

Well little Henry is already spoiled and enjoying Easter even though he is not an "outside baby" yet. Both sets of grandparents got him Easter gifts. My Mom and Dad purchased a cute bear step stool and a super adorable and soft & cozy blanket and Tucker's parents put together a frog themed Easter basket full of wash rags, two bath towels, a sleeper, baby wash, bath toys, and books! No doubt about it this little guy is loved by his family already!

So, we are remodeling our master bathroom...

And it has been a pain in the butt! We have had blood, leaking water, dust galore, and countless trips to Home Depot but I know in the next few weeks it will be done and we will love it! I am so lucky to have such a handy husband, and in-laws who can help us with the labor. Good bye linoleum, and ugly tile!!!

Weekly Pregnancy Update

How far along? 16 weeks

Total weight gain/loss: -4.5 lbs

Sleep: I have been able to sleep on my stomach again! It's been so nice. I still have to sleep kind of like a frog to sleep on my stomach but I don't care!

Best moment this week: Seeing our little Henry Walker on Saturday.

Movement: I think I am feeling little flutters again, they are not very frequent but I still love it when I do feel him.

Food cravings: Otter Pops

Gender: Boy!!!!!

Belly button in or out: In still

What I miss: I smelled coffee in the cafeteria at work and it smelled so good.

What I am looking forward to: Seeing Henry on Easter Sunday

Milestones: Henry is about 5 inches and 5 ounces, our little one is growing so fast!

It's a BOY!!!!

We went to our elective 3D/4D ultrasound yesterday to determin the sex of our baby. We went to The Baby Connection in Roseville and were really satisfied with our experience. The tech said she thought she knew the baby's sex within a few minutes of our ultrasound. Baby Henry is definitely a BOY! He wasn't too cooperative and was folded up like a pretzel with his legs crossed Indian syled above his head and did not want to show us his little "turtle". We tried having me lie on my sides, I gave the tech a few big, and deeo coughs, and then we pushed on my uterus but little Henry was stubborn and was not willing to move at all! It was so amazing to get to see him in 3D and he really is looking like a baby now! I am so in love with our little Henry Walker and cannot wait to hold him in my arms in September.

In celebration of our big news we went to Carter's in Roseville and bought our little man a few outfits. We are up to 12 baby clothes items :)

Weekly Pregnancy Update

How far along? 15 weeks

Total weight gain/loss: -5 lbs

Sleep: Not really having a good night's sleep between the dogs and my back hurting, and my always full bladder.

Best moment this week: Realizing that I have been "morning sickness free" for 2 weeks :)

Movement: Some little pops but not too frequent, I cannot wait until I can really feel the baby moving.

Food cravings: Otter Pops

Gender: Unknown, but we find out April 16th!

What I miss: I have been craving a margarita since I got my BFP, and going to Applebees this week was really sad.

What I am looking forward to: Our gender determination scan on April 16th!

Milestones: Hearing the baby's strong, loud and clear heartbeat on our doppler.

Baby Huey's Heartbeat

A few weeks ago I purchased a Sonoline B doppler and love it! I only use it a couple of times a week for max two mins at a time and it really does help with my new mommy anxiety in between appointments. Last night I found the heartbeat and was shocked by how loud and strong the baby's heartbeat is now. Before it was a soft swooshing noise but now it's like a "real" heartbeat!

Nuchal Translucency Scan

We had our NT scan done on 3/25 (I know I am a super slacker, for not posting about it since then). The Dr. came in and told us first thing that he would not be able to tell the sex of the baby :( but we were still excited to see our little one. I guess I didn't drink enough water because the Dr. said I wasn't full enough, I beg to differ but oh well. Well baby Huey was a little lazy baby and barely moved around. The Dr. was bouncing the wand on my belly trying to get s/he to move around but the baby would just kick a little and then throw it's arms up kind of like saying "leave me alone!". Guess it's safe to say this one is definitely ours because s/he is stubborn just like their Mommy and Daddy!All in all our baby was perfectly healthy, had a strong heartbeat at 155, measuring properly for our due date, and it's chances of having downs syndrome is 1 out of 48,000! We are so happy and look forward to our next ultrasound to be done on April 16th.

Love Khols Cash!

On Friday my Mother In Law gave me a $20 Khols cash coupon to go buy her grandbaby something cute so Lauren and I went down to Kohls on Saturday! They had so many cute baby items and I cannot wait to go back once we know the sex of the baby, but we did have fun looking a neutral sleepers. I found 3 sleepers for 50% off totalling $21.08 with the coupon it was only $1.08 and I saved $41!!! It was awesome, and I can't wait to dress little Baby Huey in them because they are adorable!

Weekly Pregnancy Update

How far along: 14 weeks

Total weight gain/loss: -5.8 lbs

Sleep: Cannot get comfy, and the big dog doesn't help.

Best moment this week: Feeling a rolling sensation on Thursday night in bed.

Movement: Yes I felt a rolling movement and have felt a few "pops" that were not gas and were very low.

Food cravings: Icees, Apple Jacks and chicken soft tacos from TB!

Gender: Unknown, but we find out in 2 weeks!

Belly button in or out: In

What I miss: Still being able to sleep on my stomach comfortably, but I am getting really good at sleeping on my stomach with one leg bent kind of like a frog.

What I am looking forward to: No more morning sickness.

Milestones: The baby is straigtening out and is no longer curved like a "C".
