Our Stroller

My stroller arrived on Friday during the snow storm. I was so bummed that I went to my parent's house and wasn't able to put it together that night. But I came home with Tucker at 5am, slept for a few hours and woke up to put it together. It was really easy to put together and I LOVE it!!! I cannot wait to put little baby Huey in it and cruise around the neighborhood or the mall and look fabulous! Lol! :)

How far along: 12 weeks

Total weight gain/loss: -6 lbs

Sleep: Still uncomfortable most of the night, and have been waking up to horrible headaches.

Best moment this week: Our intelligender test on Saturday morning.

Movement: None yet.

Food cravings: Easy Mac, popsicles, and icees.

Gender: Unknown, but we find out in 4 weeks!

Belly button in or out: In

What I miss: Being able to sleep on my stomach comfortably.

What I am looking forward to: I am looking forward to the sexond trimester. I am trying not to be too optomistic but lots of women have told me that they have felt like themselves again!

Milestones: Hearing the baby's strong heartbeat :)

12 Week Appointment!

We went to our 12 week appointment today, and it was a great appointment! Of course I had to jump on the scale again with all of my clothes and shoes but my weight is still down. Not worried about this because I know that I am about to start packing on the lbs and it's been nice to hang on to some part of the "pre-pregnancy me" since I have been feeling anything like myself for the last few months. So at the visit Dr. Kintner came in and wanted to talk to me about my morning sickness and dizziness; he said that it will probably last another 3-4 months or if I am super lucky it could last the remainder of the pregnancy. He also said that I will probably start to pop in about 3 months, and could feel my first movements at the same time. After our little Q&A session he brought out the doppler and cold gel and found the baby's heart rate. It was nice a strong. At first it was 164, then bounced to 160 then 162. He was really happy with a heart rate in the 160s. Our next appointment will be at 16 weeks and I cannot wait to hear our little one again. It was truly an amazing experience to share with Tucker!

New Baby Item!

Last week, Tucker bought the Britax B-Ready stroller in black and the Britax Chaperone infant car seat in cowmooflage for the baby. The car seat arrived today and it is so adorable! Britax is very famous for having the safest car seats and well we can only have the best for our little one :) It is a little bulky but I am happy that our baby will be well protected in the car seat.

Weekly Pregnancy Update

How far along? 11 weeks

Total weight gain/loss: -5lbs

Sleep: I am having difficulty staying asleep. I wake up a lot to move and get comfortable and of course my bathroom trip in the middle of the night.

Movement: None yet

Food cravings: Still love slurpees but I haven't had one in a long time basically because I am super sensitive to motion sicknessin the car and have no desire to eat/drink while driving.

Gender: Unknown!

What I miss: Not being sick.

What I am looking forward to: Our 12 week appointment on the 16th, we will get to do another in office ultrasound at Dr. Kintner's.

Milestones: Just starting to show a little, but it's not noticable yet.

Intelligender Results!!!

For months now I have been waiting to be ten weeks to try Intelligender. I was so excited when I bought it at CVS, but then realized it needed to be used with first morning urine, darn. Well Tucker came home at 4am so we tested then and the results are in. Drum roll please...


It's a BOY!!!!!

If this test is correct Tucker is going to be so excited to have his little buddy! Don't buy blue yet, our gender determination ultrasound is scheduled for April 16th at 16 weeks so we will know for sure if we are having Henry or Scarlett :)
